Reading can take you WHEREVER you want to go!
This year in reading we will explore a variety of genres, including, Realistic Fiction, Historical Fiction, Tall Tales, Nonfiction, Biographies, Autobiographies, Poetry, Drama, Recipes, among others.
Accelerated Reader
Each nine weeks your child will be taking the Star Reading Test to determine your child's reading level. Based on your child's level, he/she will be required to read a certain number of books based on the reading level. You will find a copy of the chart in the beginning of the year procedures packet. One will be posted in the classroom as well. By clicking on the Accelerated Reader image, you will be lead to the screen where students can take tests.
